The West Bank government's Palestine Post in Ramallah/al-Bireh has issued these series of stamps during 2016:

The ministry in Gaza, under nominal control of the Unity Government, has issued these series of stamps:

Day of Gratitude to the Palestinian Journalist 2015 (2016)

According to reports the Gaza Ministry has issued on 14.01.2016 a set of stamps under the slogan "Day of Gratituted to the Palestinian Journalist commemorated on 31st December of each year. The six stamps are denominated at 50, 100, 150, 500, 750, 1,000 Mils, and a block at 2,000 Mils. The sheets of tean are furnished 5x2 (150/250m), 2x5 (400/500/750/1000m).

The first postage stamp commemorating the efforts of journalists

Gaza - Public Relations and Media

The Ministry of communications and information technology issued with the participation of the Government Information Office, the first postage stamp in the history of the Palestinian Authority commemorating the efforts of journalists, on occasion of the day of Palestinian journalists which is celebrated on December 31 of each year.

General Post Manager Selim Haraz Allah said: Starting next week, the stamp will be distributed to all post offices in the Gaza Strip, and any citizen could buy it from any post office. Haraz Allah added that this stamp should be used in the mailings from Gaza to all States in the world.

Nativity Star

According to reports, Palestine Post has issued in May 2016 a stamp celebrating the "Nativity Star" in Bethlehem's Church of Nativity. The stamp is denominated at 250 and issued as self-adhesive die-cut stamps, each within a rouletted (percée en lignes) label, in sheets of 50 (10x5). The issue was originally planned for 27.03.2016.

The FDC is cancelled by a special postmark dated 27.03.2016.

International Workers' Day

According to reports, Palestine Post has issued in May 2016 a series commemorating "International Workers' Day", consisting of two stamps (250 and 920 Mils) and one block denominated at 1,500 Mils. Total value of series: 2,170 Mils.

The FDCs are cancelled by a special postmark dated 1.05.2016.

World Telecommunications & Information Society Day 2016

According to reports the Gaza Ministry has issued in May a set of stamps under the slogan "World Telecommunications & Information Society Day". The three stamps are denominated at 150, 500, 1,000 Mils, and a block at 2,000 Mils. The sheets of ten are furnished 5x2 (150/500m), 2x5 (1000m). The FDC shows a special first-day postmark dated 17.05.2016.

Fish in the Mediterranean 2016

According to reports, Palestine Post has issued in July 2016 a series depicting "Fish in the Mediterranean". It is part of a joint-issue by EuroMed Postal (PUMed) with Malta, Marocco, Croatia, Lebanon, Cypres, and France. The ten stamps, all denominated at 500 Mils, were printed together se-tenant (5x2) in one sheetlet sized ca. 280x90mm, with a total value 5,000 Mils.
Reports suggest there my be two print-runs of which the second has lighter colours.
The FDCs are cancelled by a special postmark dated 3.07.2016.

A similar sheetlet with 8 stamps, Marine Fauna of the Mediterranean (Zobbel ZdKB 8), was issued in 2000.

Water is Life 2016

According to reports, Palestine Post has issued on 8.08.2016 a series on "Water is Life / Water in Palestine". The four stamps are denominated at 420 Mils and 800 Mils (two of each), the block contains a stamp at 1,200 Mils. The two stamps of the same value are printed se-tenant in shets of ten (2x5 and 5x2, respectively).

The series was originally planned for 22.03.2016, and the FDCs are cancelled by a special postmark of that date

Arab Postal Day 2016

According to reports, Palestine Post has issued on 17.10.2016 a stamp series commemorating Arab Postal Day 2016. The two stamps are denominated at 10 Mils and 480 Mils and are printed se-tenant in sheets of ten (2x5).

Palestinian Flag Day 2016

According to reports, Palestine Post has issued on 17.10.2016 a stamp series entitled "Palestinain Flag Day" commemorating the raising of the Palestinian Flag at the United Nations in New York on 30.09.2015. The right was established by a resoltion of the UN General assembly on 10.09.2015 (document A/69/L.76). The two stamps are denominated at 250 Mils and 420 Mils, the block carries a stamp at 1,000 Mils. The stamps are printed in sheets of ten (5x2).

The series was originally planned for 30.09.2016, and the FDCs are cancelled by a special postmark of that date.

Tree Definitives 2016

According to reports, Palestine Post has issued on 15.11.2016 three definitive stamps, depicting a tree. They are denominated at 200, 1,400 and 4,500 Mils. The total value is 6,100 Mils. The stamps are printed in sheets of ten (5x2).

The previous definitives series was issued in 1996, depicting President Arafat. Apart from the 1,000 Fils stamps, it has been of little use for many years. The only use for a value of 4,500m would be heavy foreign letters and parcels.

Arabic Calligraphy Day 2016

According to reports, Palestine Post has issued on 18.12.2016 stamps commemorating Arabic Calligraphy Day 2016. They are denominated at 250 and 420 Mils, the block contains the two different stamps (printed se-tenant) at 600 Mils. The total value is 1,470 Mils. The stamps are printed in sheets of ten (5x2).
